Warren Truck & Trailer, LLC has introduced its model FW-45 elevating fifth wheel to the market. This wheel along with the company's other model FW-30 offer an alternative to more expensive trucks designed and dedicated specifically to move and spot trailers. The model FW-45 has a 90,000# lifting capacity utilizing twin hydraulic cylinders. Both the FW-30 and FW-45 are approved for highway use as well as off road service at unloading yards, ports, warehouses, and other facilities. Manufactured completely by Warren in Talco, TX; this wheel underwent extensive Finite Element Analysis (FEA) engineering studies along with testing in the company's facilities. All the Warren lifting fifth wheels utilize hydraulic cylinders manufactured by Warren, Inc. in Collins, MS.

The Warren wheels were developed from years of experience in elevating fifth wheels dating back to the purchase by Warren of the Fontaine “Yard King” product line in 1993. The new FW-30 and FW-45 expand this experience and knowledge; updated with today's FEA capabilities to provide the best elevating fifth wheels on the market. The company is committed to building and stocking these wheels for fast delivery to its dealers and end users. All the Warren fifth wheels use a separate oil tank, O-ring hydraulic fittings, bushing inserts, and state of the art design. This makes for a more trouble free product that is easier to install and service.

R.D. Warren II has joined Warren Truck & Trailer, LLC as Elevating Fifth Wheel Product Manager. R.D. is a recent graduate of Auburn University in Alabama with a B.S. in Business Administration. He grew up involved in the truck body, trailer and equipment industry. He will begin in the company's training program which involves learning all facets of the fabrication, assembly, installation, sales and service of the Warren line of hydraulic elevating fifth wheels as well as dump bodies, pup trailers and other truck equipment.

His efforts, under General Manager Art Henderson, will allow Warren Truck & Trailer, LLC to continue to expand both the fifth wheel product line as well as increase the company's market penetration in lifting fifth wheels. The company now has two models that are in stock in Talco and other Warren locations. The FW-30, a 60,000# rated lifting capacity single cylinder unit, as well as the FW-45, a 90,000# twin cylinder unit; are both manufactured in the Talco, TX. Warren Truck & Trailer, LLC also stocks other Warren products at the TX location and provides, sales, installation and service on all these products.
